Iñaki woke up with a swollen ankle and wasn't sure if he could go on. We weren't sure if it was his shoe or a bedbug bite. Ibuprofen to the rescue!
The plan was to go to Portomarín, but we stopped in Ferreiro, at the Mercadoiro hostel. It was in a little field and had been a farm at one point. So cute! It had much more charm than all the big places. There are still a lot of people walking, and we wanted to avoid the crowds. The people working there were wonderful and made us delicious lentil soup and steak for dinner. I would definitely stay there again!
Iñaki se despertó con el tobillo hinchado y no sabía si podía seguir o no. No estábamos seguros si le falló el zapato o si era una picadura de chinche. El iboprofeno se le rescató!!!!
Nuestro plan era llegar a Portomarín, pero paramos en Ferreiro, en el albergue Mercadoiro. Se ubicaba en un campo pequeño y era una granja en el pasado. Súper chulo! Tenía mucho más encanto que los albergues grandes. Todavía hay mucha gente andando, y queríamos evitar la muchedumbre. Los que trabajaban allí eran muy majos y nos servieron una sopa de lentejas y un filete deliciosos para la cena. Seguramente me quedaría allí otra vez.
