Had a tough night sleeping. Got up twice because my bedbug bites were itching and my knees were aching. I took it really slow when we started out.
We stopped in Portomarín to check out the town. It had been flooded about 50 years ago, because of a new dam, so they moved it to higher ground. The church they took apart brick by brick, which were numbered, and put it back together again. You can still see some of the numbers!
We stopped for the night in Airexe, a tiny little village, and since we were done early, we had time for a siesta, to use a washing machine, and have some beers in the afternoon. The bartender came running out when he saw that one of his colts had gotten loose! We loved it!
Dormí mal y me levanté dos veces porque las picaduras me estaban picando y me molestaban las rodillas. Me iba bastante lenta cuando arrancamos.
Paramos en Portomarín para visitar el pueblo. Se inundió hace 50 años por un pantano nuevo, así que se construyeron un pueblo nuevo más arriba. Se desmantelaron la iglesia ladrillo por ladrillo, que estaban numerado, y se la reubicó de nuevo. Todavía se ve algunos de los números!
Nos quedamos en Airexe, una aldea pequeña, y puesto que terminamos de andar pronto, tuvimos tiempo para echar la siesta, poner una lavadora y tomar unas cervezas por la tarde. El camarero salió corriendo del bar cuando vio que uno de sus potros se había escapado! Nos encantó!
