Pain. Pain. Pain. The pain moved all around, first the blisters, then the knees, then the Achilles tendon. I went very slowly today, and once I started thinking about the new place of pain, the old pain would disappear. Strange. My 5 new family members were always waiting for me in the next town, so I knew I would have a welcoming committee. However, Evaristo, the 73-year-old left us in the dust. He was the first one to Estella - 28 km/17miles!!!!! To thank them for their moral support, tonight I´m cooking for them, but Evaristo´s bringing the wine!
Dolor. Dolor. Dolor. Los dolores se cambiaban, primero las ampollas, entonces las rodillas, y luego el tendón de Achilles. Andaba muy lentamente hoy, y una vez que me concentraba en el nuevo sitio de dolor, el antiguo desaparecería. Extraño. Mis 5 nuevos miembros de familia siempre me estaban esperando en el próximo pueblo, así que sabía que iba a tener un coro de bienvenida. Sin embargo, Evaristo, el que tiene 73 años, nos dejó parados. Era el primero en llegar a Estella - ¡28 km!!!! Para darles las gracias por su apoyo, esta noche les voy a dar de cenar, ¡pero Evaristo trae el vino!

Siento que te duela pero parece que las ampollas forman parte del camino. Eres muy valiente y estoy deseando verte a tu regreso para que me cuentes la experiencia.

Hello, I wrote a note here, but it seems to have disappeared. Hey but so have you.... the last note written here was on the 4th. Today is the 12th. Are you safe?
