We left Logroño at 6:30am. There were still so many people in the streets from the town festival last night! It was a cool, humid morning. Excellent weather for walking! All three of us felt great! We laughed a lot as we chatted about our Camino family from April. We miss you all so much! Poliki poliki!
Since I´m a big fan of wine, it was so amazing for me to be walking among all the fabulous vineyards of La Rioja! Of course, we had to pick some grapes along the way, and they were delicious! Hopefully, 2011 will be a good year.
We arrived in Nájera about 2pm. The hostel sits along a river and it was beautiful! We picked up a Brazilian girl along the way who was really struggling. That´s what the Camino is about - helping each other. We arrived together with cold beer on our minds! And NO blisters! Ha ha ha!
Dejamos Logroño at las 0630. ¡Todavía había tanta gente en la calles por las fiestas anoche! Hacía fresco y húmedo. ¡Un tiempo excelente para andar! ¡Los tres nos sentíamos muy bien! Nos reíamos mucho cuando estábamos charlando de nuestra familia del Camino de abril. ¡Os echamos de menos mucho! ¡Poliki poliki!
Puesto que soy muy aficionada del vino, era alucinante para mí estar andando entre los viñedos fabulosos de La Rioja. Desde luego, tuvimos que probar las uvas que encontrábamos en el sendero, ¡y eran deliciosas! Esperemos que 2011 sea un buen año para el vino.
Llegamos a Nájera a las 1400. El albergue está ubicado al lado de un río y era muy bonito. Se la llevamos a una brasileña que estaba sufriendo bastante. Por eso está el Camino - ¡para ayudar al uno y al otro! ¡Llegamos pensando en una cerveza fría, y llegamos SIN ampollas! ¡Ja ja ja!
